We discovered Marlon Brando (age 5), Academy Award-winning American actor known for his roles as Stanley Kowalski in A Streetcar Named Desire and Vito Corleone in The Godfather, in the 1930 Census living in Omaha, Nebraska with his family, Marlon Sr. (35), Dorothy (33), Jocelyn (10) and Frances (7).

Bobby Fischer, who died on Thursday aged 64, was a high school dropout who may have been the greatest chess player of all time, but ended his life in eccentric seclusion. The Brooklyn-bred genius made headlines around the world when he wrestled the world chess title from Soviet domination in 1972, beating world champion Boris Spassky, in a Cold War chess showdown in Reykjavik known as the match of the century. Ray Bradbury in the 1930 Census

We found Ray Bradbury (age 9), American literary, fantasy, horror, science fiction, and mystery writer, in the 1930 Census living with his parents, Leonard S. (39) and Esther (41), along with brother Leonard, Jr. (13) in Waukegan, Illinois. Two other Bradbury families are listed on the same page: Minnie A. (59) and Bion S. (28) -- possible cousins!
